Lately

Gosh I used to wonder why people don't update their blog more often, now I understand!
Our life is so dang busy. The last two weeks, I have had dishes pile up in our sink and laundry pile up on our bed all week long, because I honestly did not have an extra few minutes to do them. I was about to post a picture to prove it, but that is embarrassing. I'll post a picture of our nice clean apartment thanks to my great husband later :) Life is crazy. But it's good for me to keep busy.
So here's an update of us lately.
My cousin Tyler got home from his mission in Brazil. We've actually seen him a lot, so that's been fun! Him and Trent are now on an intramural flag football team. I just wanted to put this pic up cause I think their family is so dang cute :)  Tyler is single by the way, if you know any super cute awesome girls, I would be happy to interview them :)
Speaking of this cute fam, one of my favorite people in the world, my cousin Nate, left on his mission. He is going to Peru! We are so excited for him, but will miss him! Trent and I got to go to the temple with him for his first time. Love being in the temple with some of my favorite people! We've loved having all these good excuses to spend some time with my family!
Trent took this picture, can you believe it? Amazing!
Trent with the motivational speaker Kevin Hall
Love my baby
We had a sports filled weekend: Alta, RSL, Jimmer, and BYU!
The Alta/Bingham game at RiceEccles Stadium with my fam!

Me with my fav RSL player Tony Beltran on the right and other player Chris I think?
We went to their game after with Trent's mom and brother Britt and brother in law Will!
I love this picture. Me and cute Rachelle with our fam at the Jimmer game!

And thanks to my awesome grandparents & great grandma Gardner, we got to be at the BYU game in style. This is the way to go!
Other random events... We had a yard sale. It was actually way fun. We met lots of funny, interesting, some angry, some crazy... people.
They had a ferris wheel on campus one day, why? I'm not sure, but it was a fun break from class!
I ALMOST convinced Trent to let us get the CUTEST tiniest little puppy! One day... (and yes, i do want a puppy. For some reason my mom thinks it's so funny that I want one, but i've never had a dog! They are so cute! And i would train it to not bark, be nice, and be potty trained, of course! haha) Whenever we see people selling puppies in a parking lot or something I make Trent stop so i can hold them :)
And then it got cold .
I had been craving chili for a long time, so when it cooled off I finally got to make it! Mmm!
And while we're talking about the cold weather, I am noticing something is a little off about me. Usually I am like the cold weather Scrooge and HATE it. I wait as long as i can before I have to wear long sleeves, coats, and boots. But this year... i've kinda been excited about it! Don't get me wrong i still hate the cold. But i admit, this year i've kind of been embracing being able to drink warm apple cider and smell the yummy smells and wear warm clothes and wear cute boots and snuggle up with my hubby!
Anyways, i made this yummy Pizza Loaf. It's just homemade bread with ground beef, tomato sauce, olives, and cheese!
So my super cute friend Shannon works for a nonprofit organization called Mentor's International. They had their annual gala fundraiser dinner and Shannon was able to invite us. It was awesome! We loved it. Jenny Oaks Baker was there to perform her violin, and I have loved her since I was little! She is awesome. Her parents - Elder Dallin H. Oaks & his wife - were also there with Elder Hales representing the church. We were lucky enough to meet them after, they were so sweet. And just for the record, Elder Oaks just about crushed my hand. He has the handshake of ... a giant. :)
We love hanging out with these two :)
Thanks Shan! :)
My uncle Donny and aunt Summer (I almost feel weird calling them my aunt and uncle, cause everyone else's aunt & uncles are like old. And these two are not old. They are way young, way cute, in style and cool. Also I wrote a paper about how great parents they are. Just had to make note of that.) Well they went on a little night getaway and asked us to babysit their kids. These three little kids always make me laugh, they are so funny. First of all, Elle I hear is quite the entrepreneur. She set up the "Elle Adamson Snack Shack" and this was my lunch. It was the best lunch I had all week!
Remember in the good old days when videogames were NOT like this?! Haha
the Wii is fun on the big screen!
And this is little Jayne. I just love her. She loves smiling for the camera!
And Easton and Elle made a BYU/Halloween cake! Oh and the best part is, we broke my bad curse- Nobody got sick! Yay!
The other night I went to my cousins reception with my brother Riley, and Trent didn't come because he was doing tons of homework. Or so I thought! It was so cute. I came home and our apartment was spotless!
This is how I found him. Cleaning our much needy bathtub. What a cute lil husband i have.
Is this the post that just keeps on giving or what?! I promise I'm almost done...
Last Sunday my Grandma Hansen had a family Halloween party. (I just realized like every post has to do with some event with our family! We have the greatest family! We are so lucky. I just love all of them!) But anyways, my super cute grandma had the cutest Halloween food I just had to take pictures of them!
 Worm Water
Spider Eggs! (Deviled eggs that is)
And my favorite... Witch Dip! How cute is this!? It is all made of bread, with dip in it!
What are these you ask? Oh only the best grapes in the entire world. They are grown in their backyard and rank pretty high up there for one of my favorite treats of the year!
We also carved pumpkins. This is my little owl! Hehe :)
Okay that's all! That feels so good to be all caught up! Ahh... Thank goodness for this thing we call our day of rest :)
