New Bed! Ahh!

When Trent and I moved into our apartment at the beginning of May, it came with a bed (Not a king size, not a queen size, but a FULL size mind you.... ) Not that we minded snuggling close all night, haha. But it was the WORST mattress in the world. In fact, we slept on it one night, and i ended up waking up early hating it so much that I moved onto the floor with my pillow and denim quilt. So that was the end of sleeping on our bed. And I never complain about beds! I have never had a hard time sleeping. Except for when I was a baby, sorry mom. But luckily we had a 3 inch Memory Foam mattress pad (we tried putting that on the bed one night, and it was even worse than before! I think it was TOO soft. Weird.) So for the rest of a long time while we were too busy to go buy a normal mattress - maybe not TOO busy, but also just didn't know where to go or what to get- we slept on this lovely little mat on our floor. It wasn't that bad actually. But it was annoying always having it in the way and having to put it away and set it up every day! 

Anyways...

My mom & Matt came down to take us to dinner in July the week of Trent's Bday! That was so sweet, we had a good time with them! We live so close but don't see them very often, and when we do see them there are nine kids running around and little girls attacking us, so it was good just to be with us 4. Anyways, somehow this mattress topic got brought up and we told them we had been sleeping on the floor for 2 months and that we needed to finally go get a mattress! They said they were actually about to get rid of their mattress and get a new one, so they could give us theirs. 

Matt is so sweet, and just an hour later they texted us and said they bought a new bed and could bring it to us the next day! Yay! Trent & I had fun with our credit we still had at Bed Bath & Beyond from our wedding gifts and got a new bed set for our new KING SIZE bed. And this is the end result! Fills up our whole room! Haha
